Mission Statement:
The Search Engine Marketing Association of Jacksonville (SEM Jax) promotes best practices for local online marketers and businesses through education and research.

Objectives:

• Establish Jacksonville as a leader in the search engine marketing industry.
• Spread industry awareness to local businesses and organizations.
• Provide career connections for businesses and qualified professionals.
• Develop member resources for businesses and search engine marketers.
• Provide members with networking opportunities.

Board of Directors:

Francis AblolaFrancis Ablola (SEM Jax co-founder) - From Fortune 1000 companies to one-man operations, over the past eight years Francis has been helping businesses succeed online. With a unique background in consultative selling, web development, direct response, and Internet marketing, he has developed an uncanny understanding of what delivers results online and off.

Currently, Francis manages the online marketing strategy for one of the world’s largest staffing and professional services companies.

Rhea DrysdaleRhea Drysdale (SEM Jax co-founder) is an in-house e-commerce analyst with Venus where she oversees search engine marketing, social media and online marketing campaigns. She previously worked with an online marketing agency where she managed clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small businesses. Though a relative newbie to the industry with just three years experience, she quickly made a name for herself as an associate editor of Loren Baker’s Search Engine Journal and contributor to the SEO Site Clinic. In her spare time she is the Outreach Coordinator for the First Coast Chapter of the Surfrider Foundation and does freelance online marketing for half a dozen local and national organizations. Rhea lives in Neptune Beach, FL with her fiancé.
